Following representations from NABMA:
“We have been advised by the Cabinet Office that, under the November restrictions, repair service businesses, such as mobile phone repair shops, are not required to close. Where the business’ main activity is providing non-essential retail, such as a mobile phone store, it is required to close except for click-and-collect and delivery services.
This allows mobile phone repair services to continue to operate, with mobile phone shops themselves restricted to click-and-collect and delivery services.
The business and venues guidance should be updated shortly to reflect this”
We are delighted that government is listening to us.
