Calderdale Council is currently recruiting a Divisional Market Inspector to be based at Todmorden Market.
The successful applicant will help ensure the market runs smoothly, safely and successfully while acting as a visible and supportive presence for traders and visitors on market days.
The role includes responsibility for overseeing daily market operations, supporting stallholders, allocating pitches, ensuring compliance with market rules and health and safety requirements, recording fees and reporting operational issues. The successful candidate will also support events, promotions and wider improvements to the market.
