The NABMA Conference 2017 at Stratford-Upon-Avon witnessed the beginning of the appointment of Hilary Paxman as the new Chief Executive and the retirement of Graham Wilson OBE as the long respected Chief Executive of NABMA and the widely recognised voice of markets in the UK.
Hilary addressed Conference in its opening session setting out her background, her vision, and her early work programme for the national association.
Graham leaves NABMA as its Chief Executive after 14 years in post. Throughout the Conference numerous accolades were made to his stewardship and leadership of the organisation, the many successes that it has achieved, and the profile that it has reached in Westminster and with some many partners.
The Gala Awards Dinner included a special tribute to Graham formally recognising his service to NABMA, markets and market people, with various presentations made by the Presidency team.
NABMA formally congratulates Hilary on her appointment and wishes her well and places on record its thanks to Graham for his long and dedicated service and for the many friends that he has made for NABMA and markets generally.
