NABMA is pleased to announce that we have appointed David Preston as Chief Executive to succeed Graham Wilson.
David is retiring from his position as Town Clerk of Oswestry in the early summer and, following an internal restructuring of the NABMA Team, the NABMA Board confirmed David’s appointment last week.
NABMA President, Councillor Geraldine Carter, said:
We are very fortunate to secure a person of David’s calibre. He has had a distinguished career as Town Clerk of Oswestry Town Council culminating in serving as President of the Society of Local Council Clerks in 2017/18. He has been NABMA’s Service Level Agreement Manager for the last sixteen years and has provided valuable assistance to NABMA through the provision of first class administrative and financial support. No one knows how NABMA works better than David.
David will take up his position as Chief Executive on the 1st October and until that date Graham will continue as Chief Executive.
