NABMA has made the APSE benchmarking initiative a priority and Chief Executive, Graham Wilson is encouraging more of our members to get involved.

Colin Wolstenholme of Bradford is our lead officer on this work and Colin is quite happy to talk to any member who is interested in taking part and assist them with the preparatory work. We also hope to include a benchmarking portal on the website in the autumn as a reference point for the work.

APSE recently sent an email to inform participating members that the year 20 data templates for Market operations are available for download on the members only portal. To log on please go to www.apse.org.uk and go to the performance networks section; there is a link to the portal on the image at the top of the page. You will need your authority reference and password in order to log on. Please contact Darja Scukina at dscukina@apse.org.uk if you have forgotten your password.

The first deadline for the return of market operations data is Friday 20th July 2018; all authorities who return their data by this date will be sent an exclusions report for error checking purposes. Further deadlines are published on the instructions tab on each individual template.

Members are advised to check whether they are already members of the APSE network. If you are, then the benchmarking work on markets is free of charge and means that you can include markets in the portfolio of services that you are already benchmarking.

We welcome news stories, job vacancies and tender opportunities from our members for publication. If your market has some news to share, please email support@nabma.com
