NABMA is keen to assess and support current market licensing arrangements:

  • Do you have a market licensing policy? If so, is it effective and how do you ensure compliance?
  • Have you considered introducing a market licensing policy? If so, what is stopping you?

Now is the time for action. We are offering a free virtual event to members. Whether new to your post, or an experienced markets officer then this event may help you.

This is an opportunity to share good practice and consider and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of operating a markets licensing policy.

The session will be led by Graham Wilson OBE, NABMA’s Legal and Policy Consultant, who is available for advice on how market licensing policies should be operated and what needs to be in place before an effective policy is implemented.

The initial session will be for a maximum of one and a half hours but will depend on the contributions of those attending. Hopefully we can create a Forum that can meet two or three times a year to catch up and share information.

We hope you will take advantage of this free opportunity to share information and knowledge with market colleagues.
