Over the weekend NABMA provided government with details of its national survey of markets that offered the information requested to evidence the five points of the NABMA Support Plan for Markets. It is hoped that the headline messages from the Survey will convince government of the urgent support needed for markets, and in particular market operators.
Government was also provided with a number of Case Studies from markets that have shared their experiences of trading through the lock down period; the financial impact and their thoughts on the future of their markets. A selection of those Case Studies is included in this public report.
NABMA wishes to place on record our sincere thanks to all its members that completed the Survey, provided additional information and Case Studies. We now await a response from government.
