Could your market be a showcase of good practice? Are you willing to be interviewed by print and broadcast press about your success stories?
NABMA’s Communications team are working with the NMTF to pull together a national press story for Love Your Local Market and we are looking for great examples of the following initiatives.
- Night Markets
- Education Partnerships – particularly schools, colleges, school trips, education packs, enterprise partnerships; anything that introduces markets to a new generation of consumers or traders
- Food and Drink
- Social Value – schemes that respond to or add value to the communities served by markets
- Communications and Marketing
- Artisan
Communications Officer, Harriet Roberts says, ‘We are putting together a directory of contacts for media friendly markets and case studies, so that we can respond quickly to enquiries from journalists. We already have a good selection of stories from our examples from our Great British Market Awards winners but we are now looking for more markets to step into the spotlight and share their great work.’
The full story which looks at six winning ways for markets will appear in the June edition of Market Times published on 17th May and be part of a national press campaign linked to social media.
