Established in 1795 as the ‘The Brill’, Chalton Street was once one of the largest street markets in London. It has always been a traditional market selling a mix of food, clothing, and household goods. Henry Croft the founder of the tradition of Pearly Kings and Queens was born in St Pancras Workhouse.
