Cirencester Markets

Cirencester Charter Markets are one of the oldest charter markets in the country and was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086, held every Monday 10am to 4pm and  Friday from 9am to 3pm. The market features an array of stalls which include the highest quality fresh food, plants, local produce, crafts, luxury items, quirky keepsakes and much more. Cirencester Charter Market has a long and proud history and some the traders have been trading on the Market for over 30 years.

The Cirencester Farmers’ Market takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month and the Arts and Crafts Market every 1st Saturday of the month.

The market emphasis is on the highest quality product, competitively priced. The majority of traders are locally based small business enterprises who are incredibly enthusiastic about their products, the market and Cirencester.

Not only do the Markets provide a great shopping opportunity, they acts as a community hub and is utilised by a wide range of local organisations wishing to promote their services and engage with the community. We welcome market enquiries from local community organisations and enterprises wishing to make a guest appearance on the Market.

There are an array of Specialist Markets taking place throughout the year including Food Festivals, Twilight Markets, Street Food pop ups, Vegan Markets and Health and wellbeing events etc.
