Ely Markets has been at the heart of Ely community life for over 800 years. We have three main markets a week, plus a Farmers’ Market twice a month and Mini-Markets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  We launched our new monthly “Foodie Friday” market in April which offers a great selection of street food and entertainment to start the weekend.  Our Saturday Craft, Food & Vintage Market is one of the most diverse markets in Cambridgeshire. Each week there’s a wonderful mix of quirky antiques, books, artisan produce and handmade crafts. Street food is a big thing for us and we’ve got everything from authentic Mexican and Brazilian food to Italian and Spanish deli, amazing cakes and freshly baked bread.  Our twice monthly Saturday Farmers Market offers top quality local fruit and vegetables, flowers, plants, shrubs and herbs – plus a fantastic mix of meat, pies, pastries, preserves,, cheese and cakes, spices and tea. Now over twenty years old, our Farmers’ Market continues to evolve and innovate embracing new trends and continuously offering great quality local produce.  We also have a leisurely Sunday Market with vintage, street food, crafts – an eclectic mix offering a browsers paradise.

Our Jubilee Ely Markets Extravaganza takes place on Friday 3 June offering a community, family friendly day with children’s activities, live music, dance and performance and artists’ interpretation of this special Jubilee day.  Together with a diverse range of street food, drinks, crafts and entertainment for all ages.  It’s a day for all the community to come together in the spirit of a street party and enjoy the celebrations.

We’ll also be offering a series of prize draws and giveaways of our special Ely Markets celebration Jubilee cotton tote bags and limited edition tea towels with a prize hamper of goodies from our traders.
