Newark Town Council is currently recruiting for a Markets and Events Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of its vibrant town centre markets. This role includes managing the weekly Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday Markets, as well as a variety of specialist markets throughout the year, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
In addition to market operations, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and coordinating town council-organised festivities and events, helping to enhance the cultural and economic vitality of Newark.

- Salary: £31,586 – £32,654 per year
- Potential for Permanency: The role is initially offered on a two-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent based on successful enhancement of the market’s potential.
