NABMA is pleased to announce details of our popular January one-day conference. Our 2020 Conference will explore how markets can play their part in the renaissance of our high streets.
Once again we return to the prestigious venue of the Council House, Birmingham for the first major markets event of the New Year. We are grateful to Blachere Illumination for their continuing support of this event.
DATE – THURSDAY 30 JANUARY 2020
VENUE – THE COUNCIL HOUSE, BIRMINGHAM
COST – SPECIAL OFFER OF £130 PER DELEGATE PLUS NEXT DELEGATE AT £105 OR 3 DELEGATE PLACES FOR £300 – ALL PLUS VAT (for bookings before 31 December only – see conditions on booking form)
Markets are identified as a key influence in the vital and vibrant centres of the future with government committed to helping local high streets evolve and adapt to change. Markets can be a leading influence to encourage flourishing town centres where people live, shop, use services, and spend their leisure time.
Our conference will focus on many of the good news stories that can be found today in our markets. Yes, there are challenges to face but partnership, leadership and encouraging and developing traders of the future will be at the centre of our programme.
The Great British Market Awards 2019 provided some wonderful good practice that has already been shared in a NABMA publication. Certain case studies will now be chosen to present to Conference, with a high street association, for a wider discussion.
Finally, as is tradition at the January Conference, we will showcase the awards ceremony for the Great British Market of the Year 2020. This will be a chance to celebrate with NABMA the very best in our various entry categories and to witness the announcement of who will take the acclaimed title of Britain’s Favourite Market 2020. This year our grateful thanks are extended to Blachere Illumination for their generous sponsorship of this prestigious competition.
We have provided a very special early booking offer with three delegates able to attend for just £300+VAT. I would urge you to book early as in recent years this One Day Conference has been oversubscribed. Remember that no booking will be confirmed until payment is received.
