After over 30,000 votes from the public, the anticipation is rising, as the title of Britain’s Favourite Market 2022 is set to be revealed on 3rd February 2022.

The winner of the highly prized award, which is part of the Great British Market Awards, organised by NABMA (National Association of British Market Authorities), will be announced at an event in Birmingham.

The markets, who gained the most votes, and will now move onto the second round (in alphabetical order) include:

The next round of the competition includes mystery shopping, and a panel of industry experts will make the final decision before the winner is revealed.

Previous winners of the prestigious award have included Bury Market, Shrewsbury Market and Grainger Market.
