About the Role: Boston Borough Council, in partnership with South Holland District Council, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Markets Manager. This role involves managing and developing markets across Boston, South Holland, and East Lindsey. The successful candidate will work with the Markets team to promote the markets, increase footfall, and support a variety of events, including specialised and Teenage Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop town markets in accordance with market regulations.
  • Promote markets to residents and visitors.
  • Oversee health and safety checks of markets.
  • Liaise with traders and manage budgets.
  • Ensure smooth running and continuous development of markets.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in the operation and development of town markets.
  • Knowledge in organising safe events.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Good ICT skills.
