Markets Officer Opportunity: Boston Borough Council

Boston Borough Council is seeking a motivated and hands-on Markets Officer to help deliver and grow the historic Boston Market.

This varied role combines outdoor market operations, customer service and digital administration, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting one of the region’s long-established markets. No two days are the same, with responsibilities ranging from market set-up and trader support to managing bookings and promoting the market to visitors and potential traders.

Position Details

  • Position: Markets Officer

  • Salary: £28,092 – £31,337 per annum
  • Contract: Permanent, Full Time
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Closing Date: 1 July 2026

The successful candidate will help ensure market days run smoothly, support traders and customers, manage digital systems and bookings, and contribute to the continued development of Boston Market. A full UK driving licence with B+E (trailer towing) entitlement is required.
