Love Your Local Market makes a Big Impression
Love Your Local Market got off to a great start on Friday 17th May, as markets from across the UK hosted events, incentives and activities to celebrate everything that is great about these cornerstones of communities.
Combining tradition and innovation, the fortnight of celebrations, that runs until 31st May has given over 11,000 people the chance to sample market trading and at least 1,000 new businesses have been created.
Already the activity levels on social media are higher than anticipated and the campaign is on track for a record year.
NABMA would like to thank all markets that are joining in the celebrations this year.
