Love Your Local Market 2022 – Thank You For Your Support

What a fantastic two weeks we have enjoyed as Love Your Local Market has been celebrated across the UK. It  now enters its third week as markets across the UK begin celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Once again, NABMA thanks our Love Your Local Market sponsor Zapp Umbrellas for their support and generosity.  Home – Zapp Umbrellas | Market Umbrellas and Pop-Up Gazebo Experts

Please look at our social media platforms and catch up with all the events, the people, the colour and atmosphere that are being generated for this national and worldwide celebration of markets.

In the week ahead we are hearing of celebrity visits to markets; markets that are the venue for Jubilee street parties, tea parties and even a fly past! We look forward to seeing the pictures of these celebrations. Don’t forget the hashtag #LYLM2022. Use all our various digital assets from posters to social media tiles. LYLM Digital Assets – NABMA

Many markets have added additional opening hours and days, so they can be at the heart of the celebrations in their communities.

Campaign highlights so far are the endorsement for the Love Your Local Market campaign from the Prime Minister himself. Also featured visiting markets have been Neil O’Brien MP, Minister for Levelling Up and Simon Baynes MP, Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Markets Group. We are delighted at this loud Westminster support for NABMA, markets and the campaign.

Once again, a huge thank you to the NABMA Social Media Team of Ian and Rob at Square Cactus for all their long hours and fantastic work in promoting Love Your Local Market 2022 to the widest possible audience.

We look forward to another amazing week of celebration as Love Your Local Market links up with the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Please share all your Love Your Local Market events, photographs and celebrity visits with NABMA.#LYLM2022
