NABMA was delighted to welcome a number of first time delegates to our Birmingham Conference in February. A topic of question became the history of our organisation, and this has also coincidentally been picked up by a Historical Appreciation Society recently
In 2019, to commemorate the NABMA centenary, a publication was launched as a celebration of the history, events, headline and people from the NABMA archives. As a reminder the booklet can be read here nabma-100-booklet-rs.pdf
A Wakefield Society has now shared a 1981 picture from the booklet of Chris New, now our Member Services Consultant, and then the Senior Markets Manager at Wakefield, with well know and highly respected NABMA members of the day from Leeds, namely Maureen Newall and Malcolm Prince.
NABMA is pleased to see its publication continuing to be viewed from far and wide. We also acknowledge and applaud the service of Chris New to the markets industry and NABMA for well over 50 years. Thank you Chris for all the valued support and help you have, and continue, to offer to colleagues in our industry on a daily basis.
